Great stay all around, and one of the best Holiday Inns that I've stayed at. My only two issues were that they how to updated the app to notify me their Spa was broken, and there are no key card entrances. You have to come in and out to the front door.
I visited Quincy with my Family for my Daughter’s official recruitment visit to Quincy University this past weekend. I called on my way over and spoke with Mr. Bob and he was very, very helpful. I explained him that we were stuck on the road and we weren’t going to make it. He adjusted my reservation and it made me feel like he really cared. Upon arrival Ms. Sarah was not different, she was very nice and attentive and answered all of my questions. Later that evening we had dinner at Tony’s and the food was delicious. Mr. Alex help us and gave us some more information about the town. I highly recommend this place to anyone. My wife and I will continue to stay here every time we come watch my Daughter’s volleyball games. Go Hawks!!
LOVE this hotel. Consistently modern, clean, friendly. Got a free breakfast buffet for Thanksgiving, a great perk! Like the complimentary coffee. Have never used the pool or workout room but know they have them. Only negative feedback - not made for short people like me. Beds and sinks VERY high. Don't see how a kid could use 'em.
Large, comfortable rooms. The bed & pillows were VERY comfortable! Location is tucked back & quite, located less than 5 min from the city. There’s a restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast, lunch, & dinner but I never had the opportunity to eat at it. I did notice a lot of locals come in & eat there, not just hotel quest. I didn’t utilize the pool or housekeeping during my stay soi can’t leave a fair review on either of those things.
Very nice hotel on the edge of town. Beds and pillows were amazing and the room was just perfect. Plenty of parking for buses and semis.
I highly recommend Holiday Inn in Quincy Illinois. I stayed a week with my coworker while traveling. The customer service was impeccable, and so absolutely kind. Ask for Bob or Tom, they will help you and go beyond and above to do so. Thank you both for your kindness and helping out with our no food stipend issue with our traveling job.
Check in time was a bit hectic due to several guests doing so at the same time. Alright they don't have a free breakfast, we did get vouchers towards the cost of breakfast at the on-site restaurant. We weren't able to use the vouchers because of our schedule. The hotel is very near Walmart. The pillows were our biggest issue. Very uncomfortable for all 5 of us who were in our party.
We stopped here to avoid a severe thunderstorm on our road trip. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was what we needed. There's a restaurant and bar in the hotel; we didn't have time to try it, but it looked good.
